Abstract
In 2018, the XYY Syndrome Association of Australia Inc. conducted a survey to create a better understanding of XYY Syndrome. The survey was completed by adult XYY males, expecting parent/s of XYYs, and parent/s and carer/s of XYYs. With results from 184 anonymous respondents. We found a major concern of the XYY community is that XYY Syndrome is little understood by society and by most professionals working with males diagnosed with this syndrome. For this reason, our association has developed this paper around XYY Syndrome. This paper will take a closer look at: What is XYY Syndrome? Diagnosis, Common Traits, and Comorbidity. With the support of the XYY community, we hope to create a better understanding of XYY Syndrome.
